How long have you been in business?
I have been licensed since 1989 and have been in private practice since 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
My specialties are individual, couples counseling; divorce adjustment; parenting skills; crisis/trauma. I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and have used it for 18 years of my practice in trauma work. I also provide divorce mediation services. I am an outsourced provider of services to the Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division, by performing child custody evaluations, child interviews, child reunification, and parenting coordination functions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was taking college classes to fight boredom and became more and more interested in psychology. I originally had sought a nursing profession.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One. I am located near the Seven Hills area in Green Valley.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Drive south from I-215 and S. Eastern until you reach Sunridge Heights Parkway, turn right and drive almost a mile to the corner of Jeffreys and Sunridge Heights Parkway. Turn right on Jeffreys and make an immediate right into the parking lot. My office is the first suite as you drive in the parking lot.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, debit, credit and health savings accounts. I am a provider for many insurance companies (including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, TriCare, Value Options, United Behavioral Health, etc.)
Which areas do you service?
All of Henderson and Las Vegas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I do.
What are your hours of operation?
Usual hours are 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That I was able to help them to improve their level of happiness.
